Will These Tubs Fit Your Dipping Cabinet?
This is the question that costs shops the most money. A tub that does not drop cleanly into the well is a tub you cannot use, and "3 gallon" describes volume, not footprint.
Measure the well, not the tub
Measure the opening of a single well at its narrowest point, then the depth from the rim to the floor of the well. Those two numbers decide what fits.
Check clearance for the lid
A tub that fits the well but sits proud of the rim will not let the cabinet lid close or the sneeze guard seat properly. Leave room for the lip.
